Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) can be leveraged beyond the macOS Setup Assistant. If a device is in Apple Business Manager (ABM) but is not enrolled in Jamf or is enrolled in Jamf but is not Supervised it may become enrolled and supervised by re-enrolling through the command line.

## Prerequisites

- Device must be in Apple Business Manager
- Must be assigned to an MDM server
- Must be assigned to a Prestage
- The device must be running macOS 15 Sequoia or greater
- The user performing the enrollment must be a local admin on the Mac.

Note: If a device was recently added to ABM, assigned to an MDM server, or assigned to a Prestage profile it may take 5-10 minutes for the MDM server to sync with Apple Business Manager.
